With the recent obliteration of the clk’s right front rim, tire, brake, brake disc and anything else associated with it; A long list of related incidents have had me waking up at 5 AM, to drive my dear mother to work on almost daily basis. One morning, with my sleep cycle completely derailed and my nerves shot, I noticed something odd about the ride on a normally congested and irritating i-95. I mean I’ve been up and down the interstate more times then I can count, but there was something about it now. It seems that the lack of traffic and day light appear to make this urban behemoth a sort of tranquil, soul soothing garden of Eden...(well with the occasional 18 wheeler roaring by). Now it might have to do with me being half asleep, but I’m almost joyful to get up at that unseemly hour. Which led me to a startling conclusion, however crazy it may sound, a 2 mile stretch of highway between Yeadon and South Philly is my paradise.

BEYONCÉ "SWEET DREAMS"
THIS IS BY FAR THEEEEE BEST VIDEO TO COME OUT FROM HER “I Am” series”!!! Although the trio motif is still there and she still has little traces of "ghetto" choreography, which wouldn't be a problem with any other artist and is only worth mentioning because she does it with intent. By this I mean that Beyonce feels the need to connect to what she believes is her main audience (young black women) when in fact her music has transcended race and even her. But to return to the critic of the vid, the costumes are run way inspired, the video-graphy is top notch and the song is hot. Over all A.
Neil Barrett GOES CRAAAAZY!!!
For those of you that dont know neil Barret, this is not at all the "usual". In fact its completely different, almost daring, and I for one am loving every minute of it. These Baseball "kicks" are featured in 3 colorways(only 2 pictured above) neon yellow, patent leather blue and black. Hall of Fame x New Era - Collegiate 59Fifty Hats
Hall of Fame has released their newest collaboration with New Era and it consists of two 59Fifty Hats, entitled the Collegiate Series. One hat comes in Royal and the other in Black. DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE
Gucci!!!!!!!!!!! YES, the much publicized, almost ghetto sheik high end line has finally done it!!! What have they done u ask? Well for starters they've designed something that doesn't repulse the pallet with their fucking logo everywhere. I know for some that buying brands like Gucci is only worth it if everyone in the whole world knows you have it, but for others, its nice to see that style and elegance hasn't left their minds completely. The shoe features a premium brown suede upper, matching brown leather laces and an overall subtle, low-key persona. But don't worry, for those that do want to pull the Soulja Boy, the Gucci logo is subtly printed on the upper heal, while the trademark red and green strips are placed around the lower panel.
WHAT TO DO, WHAT TO DO
With all the over accessorizing that goes on in the world I found myself completely neglecting the fact that accessory's are in fact a necessity(no pun intended). My mentality to fashion has always been simple, let your footware and tops due the talking while everything else takes a back seat. This is probably a subconscious desire to get as far away from the era of the Girbaud Jean era as possible. If u don't know what that is, hears a little hint....if u ever seen anyone with overactive, almost ADD designs on their jeans, you know exactly what I'm talking about. But lets not stray from the topic at hand, I LOVE SIMPLICITY!!! often only throwing on a watch or maybe a hat. This however is bull and I'm feeding into the whole "I'm trying to be different" bullshit that everybody seems to be on. The thing is I love accessories and this little key chain obviously does not warrant this spaz of sorts, but it did serve its purpose. :)
Nike Air Max ST: SO FUCKING CLASSIC
The Air Max ST was originally released in 1992 featuring a very breathable upper which was constructed from mostly mesh, and the classic air sole used on all Air Max releases. The simple black and white colorway is given a nice splash with the orange Air Max writing on the tongue; this sneaker is the definition of clean.(VIAKICKSONFIRE)

This weeks ewww award as two winners; the Adidas women's SLVR collection and yet another installment of Air Jordan/ Air Force Fusion by Nike.
Well lets start with where the heart is; with this consistent stream of fusions coming out, one is left wonder, is Nike really this commited to ruining the legacy that "numbered" Jordan's have created. To people who know sneakers this is like painting graffiti over the Sistine chapel. Taking something so beloved and so classic and trying to market it to a new brand of consumer,(Nike's agenda since day one) all the while destroying it....no more to be said
As horrendous as this shoe is, if u can even call it a shoe, it seems to fall in line with everything Adidas has done for the better part of this decade. Trying to emulate its competitors with lack luster designs and even worse delivery, Adidas is slowly becoming one of my most hated company's. The really sad part comes when they debut this monstrosity on the Y-3 label, which is single handily keeping Adidas afloat on the relevancy scale.....no more to be said
