With 9,000 models produced, the latest Gallardo is Lamborghini’s most successful model of all time, much of it thanks to Valentino’s Balboni hard work. Balboni has been the official Lamborghini test driver since 1967; test driving all of the companies prototypes since, and including the Diablo, Murcielago and Gallardo. This means that Valentino has logged more miles behind the wheel of more Lamborghinis than anybody in history. To celebrate Balboni’s carreer, Automobili Lamborghini has presented a model that bears his name – The Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni. The 550 stands for the power output in hp and the 2 is for rear wheel drive. With its 5.2 litre ten-cylinder 550hp engine and weighing 1,380 kilograms, the LP 550-2 is capable of going 0 to 100 km/h (0-62mph) in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph) ranking it among the top super sports cars in the world. Limited to 250 units.(vialimitedhype)
